In 2008, I was asked to create a compelling motion graphics piece as an intro to the ESPN EURO 2008 website.  2.5D was an emerging idea that I had been playing around with for a while.  Considering that we were only allowed to use still photos, it seemed like a good time to use the 2.5D method.  Although these pieces aren’t long, they were part of an award winning experience of the site. I think they look cool.  There is the original cut and the cut I like.  The cut I like wasn’t used because the imagery was too ‘violent’.  Can’t win em all.
